Cat found its way home

Last November 15, the cat Giggle-Blizzard had disappeared from his loving home in Spring Hill. After 11 days, on Thanksgiving Day, Tracie Steger heard a very faint meow at the front porch of her house. When her niece opened their door, there he was, with two legs forward and used his back legs to make baby steps which made it very obvious that the cat was injured.

Giggle Blizzard got home but unfortunately, he got two broken legs. The owner, Tracie Steger, have 13 pets including Giggle-Blizzard. The day she disappeared, she was frantic and walked the neighborhood together with her dog. She even posted posters as well as sent an online message via Craigslist asking for help with the lost cat. After 10 days of her search, she received bad news from her neighbor. The neighbor said that she saw Giggle-Blizzard getting hit by a car on Saturday about a mile away from home. But still, Steger never gave up on her beloved cat and kept on looking.

When they saw the cat at the door, she had mixed emotions. And, although it costs her over $3,000 for Giggle-Blizzard’s medical expense, she said that it was well worth it. She also posted another message on Craigslist to inspire all the animal lovers out there with missing pets. She wrote a message saying that they shouldn’t give up as they never gave up and their cat was finally home.
