Auctionbytes made a survey to over 1,400 online sellers and they were asked to rate marketplaces. The survey was done this month and the result shows that Craigslist ranks #9 on their seller’s choice.
Craigslist got a good rate of 7.11 out of 10 with their ease of use, 6.21 out of 10 if sellers would recommend the site, 5.65 rating on profitability, 4.36 on Customer Service and 4.23 on Communication.
It shows that the sellers are happy with the ease of use which means that Craigslist is very easy to use for sellers even when they are not techy. It also shows that most sellers would recommend Craigslist to other sellers but they are not satisfied with the site’s customer service and communication.
Comments from readers usually say that they are happy with Craigslist because they don’t charge and they can post on the site very quickly and with no hassle. The lack of customer service support made some sellers unsatisfied. They also say that communication is virtually impossible with the Craigslist staff.
Ranking at #9 out of 15 ain’t bad but it ain’t good either. For sure Craigslist can do better as they improve their Customer Support and communication with users and sellers.
