Honey was an abused dog. She was spotted in different areas along New Port Richey. She has a really tight collar on her neck and is obvious that she had been abused by her master. When she was last sighted off Seven Springs Road, a Good Samaritan posted her picture on Craigslist.org.
Devon Detrapani happens to be browsing on Craigslist and saw the ad that request for help for the sweet dog. She answered the ad because it made her sick and sad to see such a sweet dog being injured like that. Now, the sweet dog is in the Humane Society of Pinellas County and there she gets all the care she needs to get better.
The dog is recovering and her neck is wrapped with a bandage for the wound to heal well. Until now, the humans responsible for hurting the sweet dog have not been found. The dog didn’t bark much during the treatment of her neck, probably it’s because her neck and throat was hurt too much that even barking hurts a lot.
She would be ready for a new home in about two months. Anyone who may be interested to give this dog her much deserved TLC is welcome to adopt her. She had an abusive master and through Craigslist she has found the help she needed and she definitely deserves a chance for happiness.
