An ad posted on Craigslist is thought to just be a cruel joke but it may also turn out to be a post of a real-life Cruella. The listing was posted this month where the poster sent out warnings such as “I am hiding dog poison at dog runs“. The post had been flagged and removed but this didn’t pass the eyes of the Parks Department of the city, according to the NY Post. Dog owners were put on notice regarding the Craigslist posting.
Thankfully though, no dog poison incident had yet happen nor are there any evidence of such cases, Parks Department still deployed officers to spot check. They also told the NY Post, that although the post may only be a hoax yet they are still taking it seriously. The department is working with The Department of Health, Animal Care & Control, NYPD and ASPCA regarding the matter.
Do canine owners should be concern about the post? At least they know their Parks Department are not taking anything like a joke and would only realize that it’s real once a victim had already been killed.
