HTC EVO 4G on Craigslist

The HTC EVO 4G of Sprint which is said to be available in June has currently made its way to Craigslist and Ebay. The company gave out the new device for free at a Google’s I/O event which has a total of 4,000 people in attendance. The 4,000 lucky ones which will surely make a lot of profit from this highly sought after device. This is probably where the handset posted on Craigslist and Ebay are from. The HTC EVO 4G is said to be an upgrade from the HD2. The handset is said to have an 8 megapixel camera which comes with flash, a 1.3 megapixel front camera, a 1GB built-in memory and 512MB RAM and able to process 8GB microSD card. This will be the first time that Sprint will produce a 4G handset.
The phone will cost for about $199 in June but they are going from $450 up to $1200 now.

Craigslist TV

Creators of the famous free online classified ads are trying ways and means to turn the Craigslist site into fortune, fame and fun. The site is planning to set up a channel at Youtube which when turned into reality; advertisers who have volunteered to take part in the project where they will share their experience using Craigslist to the viewers. The show will post a documentary series of the craigslist users. And according to the Craigslist company chief executive officer Jim Buckmaster they will target cities like Los Angeles where Craigslist is very popular. They are hoping to reach more people with the help of the Craigslist TV.

Similarly with Craigslist, Google is trying to do a somewhat similar move turning internet surfing possible with the use of television sets. Companies like Apple and Yahoo have also attempted the same move but wasn’t able to be successful with the idea. Google TV is scheduled to launch this coming fall.

Cross dressing thief steals a car from Craigslist

Ian Rutledge 20 was identified after police was able to identify him on one of the high speed chase they had with him. Police thought they were looking for a female suspect based from Adam Ciardo’s complain of a 6 foot 1 black female took his car. He was trying to sell his car with the help of the website Craigslist. He owns a Mitsubishi Eclipse. Ian Rutledge pose as an interested buyer and tried convinced Adam Ciardo he is really buying his car. After Rutledge was able to test drive the car he then pretended to lose his cell phone where both Ciardo and his cousin tried to help find it. Rutledge then find an excuse to steal Ciardo’s vehicle.

The police was able to identify Ian Rutledge when they started networking with other agencies and then found several complaints which match its M.O. Other agency was able to arrest him but the police is still unable to find him until today.
